What are Sites, Locations, Terminals, Visitor Types and Forms?

Site: Separate campus or geographical place. Your VPass account can have more than one Site.

Location: Typically an entry point to a campus or building (for example Front Reception or Rear Entry). A Site can have multiple Locations.

Terminal: An iPad situated at a Location such as the Front Reception. A Location can have a single Terminal.

Visitor Type: The role a visitor selects when they sign in, eg: Contractor. All Terminals share the same set of Visitor Types.

Form: Is made up of the fields a visitor fills out as they sign in. They are composed separately from Visitor Types and any one Form can be used with any one Visitor Type. Information can be collected using text fields, dropdowns, radio buttons and checkboxes.
