Users can select their keyboard language by touching the world symbol on the bottom left of the keyboard. To change the order of appearance of these keyboard languages…

Go to the iPad’s settings (cog icon) and select General (1) and Keyboard (2).

Next select Keyboards (3).

Select the blue Edit button, top right (4)

Shuffle the language order by dragging and dropping into position (5). When finished, click Done (6).

The order of the languages has now changed in the settings (7)…

… and on the iPad (8) – once the world symbol button is pressed.
